Dropwall watches clothing brands and shops — menswear and womenswear, any kind of clothing — for new releases, restocks, sales and price drops, and keeps the pieces you care about in a private archive on your phone.
Questions, problems or requests go to hottorun@pm.me. There is no account system, so please say which device you are writing about if your question is about your own data.
Three separate things have to be true, and the app tells you which one is missing. Open You inside Dropwall — the person icon at the top right of every tab — and look at the Alerts section: it reports whether iOS has granted permission, whether this device has registered with our server, and whether alerts can currently be delivered at all. If permission was declined, iOS only asks once — turn it on in the iOS Settings app under Dropwall, and Dropwall will pick it up the next time you open it.
Everything else in the app works if you would rather not have notifications at all.
The feed only shows things that have actually happened since you started following. A brand that has not published anything will be quiet, which is not a fault — open the brand's own page in the app to see its full catalogue straight away.
Dropwall reads what a storefront publishes for automated clients. If a site publishes nothing readable, or blocks us, the brand's page will say so rather than pretending.
Search first — the catalogue is shared, so a brand somebody has already added is there to follow rather than to add again. If it is genuinely new, paste a link to the brand's website and Dropwall will work out what the site publishes. If nothing at all could be read, the app will tell you; that usually means the site is down or blocking automated readers.
Each kind of sizing filters only once you have filled it in — clothing, waist and shoes are separate ladders, and an empty one simply does not filter. A size we cannot confidently read is never hidden from you, on purpose: missing a drop costs far more than seeing one extra item.
Use the iOS share sheet from Safari or anywhere else that offers a link, and pick Dropwall. The app fills in the details the next time you open it. A link that lands without a picture is usually a page that publishes no preview image; saving it again later, or opening the product's own page, generally fixes it.
Deleting the app removes everything held on the device immediately — every save, board, outfit, note and the style profile built from them. None of that is ever sent to us.
To have the server-side record deleted as well, write to hottorun@pm.me from any address and say so. Because there is no account, please include the device you are asking about so we can identify the right record. We will delete it and confirm.
There is no account, no advertising, no third-party analytics and no tracking. The app counts how often its main features are used, as anonymous daily totals on our own server and nowhere else. What the app keeps on your device and the little the server receives are both set out in full in the privacy policy.
If something is wrong, the most useful things to include are what you were doing, which brand or product it involved, and your iOS version. Screenshots help. Write to hottorun@pm.me and we will answer.
